Cylinder Head Resurfacing
It is important to check a clylinder head if an engine has overheated or blown a head gasket as the cylinder head can become distorted. If this is the case Statfold Engineering can resurface or skim the cylinder head to bring it into tolerance and create a new sealing face.
When resurfacing the cylinder head, we always remove the minimum amount of materials possible so we don’t drastically alter the compression.
We can resurface most cylinder heads from the smallest cars to the largest commercials. As well as cylinder heads, Statfold Engineering can also resurface cylinder blocks and manifolds if they are damaged or distorted.
